Why does my dazzle lag

Hi, I bought a Dazzle DVD Recorded today, a white one, I connected it to my tv and ps3 and laptop, via splitters, when im recording, I get a preview of the video, and it lags a ton like if I flick through my friends, it comes up with about 5 different still pics, like one every second, so I can't make proper videos, without ridicolous lag, the lag is also on the finished product, it's really annoying, and there must be some fix for it, please someone help ASAP, this is really annoying me!

Gavtech Administrator. Please be clearer about what is connected to what and by what connecion method. Does your PC meet the minumum requirements? Especially is the USB port hi speed? Ok, sorry, I have my PS3 cable av cable with yellow red and white I plugged those red yellow and white ends into the a splitter each, 1 female 2 male I then connected one of the males on each splitter to an av plug, which plugged into my tv, and one into each of the females on my Dazzle DVD Recorder, my laptop meets all the reqs for it by far 4gb RAM Please help.

Try connecting solely to the PC. Check the output frame rates of the PS Lower them as much as possible and check that they match the input settings of the Dazzle unit.

My video is working now, because im using a different recording program, but my audio isnt working, it wont find dazzle audio? I have done that, and it's still not picking it up, please help?!

If you are using Vista, you may have to be sure it is fully up to date. Early versions of Vista did not have full audio support You must log in or register to reply here. I know how to fix this problem, but I have to do it after starting the recording, and is frankly a huge hassle.

But the main problem with it is that it lags too much. There have been 7 takes at it. The first episode I had done was alright, with only some lag, but it got to the point of freezing. Is there anything I may have forgot to do to make this work in colour and at good quality? Edit: Oh yes, and it is also coming out completely silent, with no gameplay sounds whatsoever. How do I fix this? I'm having the same problems, an it will record for a few then it will go offline?
